features a unique locking lid that can be opened on hinges, lifted off robotically,

Synthesis
system. EasyXpress is a complete system for delivering recombinant
protein from a gene within a single day. Using a two-step PCR procedure, the system
adds affinity-tag coding sequences to products from the first-round of PCR. EasyXpress
is available in a minikit capable of producing up to 30 µg of protein from 20
x 50 µL reactions, and a maxikit for reactions up to 4 mL.
Filter
plate. This multiscreen solubility filter plate is an automation-compatible,
96-well system designed for quantitative solubility assays. The filtration-based
protocol has been validated to screen hundreds of samples per day with results
that correlate to shake flask methods. It gives reproducible results in less than
4 h. The plates incorporate low-binding membrane and plate materials to yield
high drug recovery.
Standards.
The In-Spec Optical Photometric Standards are for instrument calibration verification,
are NIST-traceable, and can be used to validate calibration and determine linear
accuracy in the UV range of 225–450 nm. These ready-to-use, nontoxic liquids
provide stable readings for a full year and require no special handling or storage.

Pump
system. Without flow splitting, the 1D NanoLC System monitors system
and independent solvent channel pressure. Automated peak parking lowers flow rate
rapidly during a gradient, effectively eliminating previously complex approaches.
This system can achieve higher solvent-to-sample ratios at lower flow rates, resulting
in more samples being analyzed by mass spectrometry.
Delivery
system. The comPANION remote system complements the scalable comPOUND
microtube storage system. comPANION provides remote delivery of cherry-picked
microtubes to any location up to 15 m away from compound. It can generate a rack
of 96 microtubes individually selected from comPOUND’s 100,000-tube store in about
9 min, processing over 5000 tubes in a day. Racks prepared by comPANION can be
fed directly into a liquid handler, and then rapidly stored for later use.
Protein
vectors. Nonprofit and academic customers can obtain a complete set
of reef coral fluorescent proteins (RCFPs). These bacterial and mammalian expression
vectors encode AmCyan, Zs Green, ZsYellow, DsRed, and AsRed. The proteins are
adapted for use as in vivo reporters by introducing a series of mutations into
the corresponding full-length cDNAs to produce RCFPs with higher solubility, brighter
