The design feature allows for fast cooling, overall ease of furnace operation, and convenient access to the process tube. Available in both single and three-zone models, all units have a temperature range of 1001200 °C. Able to heat or cool quickly, all models feature the patented Moldatherm LGO heating element modules for superior radial and linear temperature uniformity as well as low external surface temperatures.
Kendro Laboratory 235
Sample Prep. The Model 793 IC Module A is ideal for in-line processing and eliminating difficult sample matrices in ion chromatography. This instrument allows integration of sample preparation into the IC system. Caustic matrices can be eliminated to allow for reliable low-level anion analysis.
Metrohm-Peak 236
Gas Analyzer. The Titan System contains an extractive FTIR spectrometer and is designed for real-time analysis of multiple compounds. Each analyzer consists of a permanently aligned, corrosion-resistant metal gas cell and the AutoQuant software package. The optical and electronic components are hermetically sealed in a cast aluminum chassis for thermal stability and protection from damaging exposures. Gas cells with path lengths from 1 cm to 100 m are mounted externally for easy access.
MIDAC 237
Glassware Cleaners. These washer-and-basket systems solve the unique challenges of cleaning glassware and provide the necessary capacity for laboratories that need to clean high volumes of items such as volumetric flasks and BOD bottles. Using upper and lower injection baskets, up to 67 pieces can be cleaned in a single load. With circulation of more than 100 gallons per min, these cleaning systems ensure that water and detergent reach deep inside narrow-necked glassware and provide analytically clean results.
Miele 238
Column Kits. The CelixirOA CZE kits are made with the companys proprietary dynamic coating system. These kits make the CZE of aliphatic organic acids and small anions easy and reliable, in addition to eliminating the need for extensive sample preparation. Complete with all buffers and coatings needed, the kits use inverse polarity and treat the capillary with a dense coating of polycations.
MicroSolv 239
Media Bottles. Each square bottle is guaranteed leakproof, sterilized to 106 SAL, and biologically tested in a HEPA-filtered manufacturing environment to assure sterile performance for up to 5 years. Manufactured from shatter-resistant PET, these bottles provide excellent gas barrier properties for reliable storage and shipping of liquid media, buffers, and sera. All bottles are noncytotoxic and nonpyrogenic.
Nalgene 240
Balances. This company has expanded the range of models in its Explorer and Voyager product lines. By adding the 610 g x 1 mg and 6100 g x 10 mg models, the range of weighing capabilities at the 1 and 10 mg readability levels has been expanded. Both lines offer a full complement of features designed to meet the everyday demands of laboratory users and are capable of performing a wide array of functions at the touch of a button. The improvements provide finer readabilities to accommodate large container and tare weights and relieve the restrictions of lower-capacity, same-readability balances.
Ohaus 241
Spectrometer. The IR100 FTIR system is compact, affordable, and ideal for teaching and routine testing needs. The systems small, lightweight design saves on valuable lab space. A separate computer system is unnecessary, which saves money and additional lab space. For system operation, it uses the Encompass software viewable on a high-quality, color LCD screen. The software provides intuitive navigation of essential FTIR operations, making it easy to learn and minimizing training time for new users.
Thermo Mattson 242

Viscotek 246
Software. PlateManager provides support for processing DNA samples and uses intuitive screens and graphics to record and report the contents of each well in every plate. This software program stores details of primer batches, standards, reagents, and controls. Specific rules may be entered that govern how the plate is to be loaded. When a specific set of samples is selected, it produces a graphic plate plan of exactly how the analyst should pipette into the wells of each plate. If the plate is to be used for any type of amplification, such as PCR, then the conditions, such as cycling temperatures, times, and device serial numbers, are recorded.
