Products Titration Systems. The Titrando Systems 808 and 809 can be extended to form a super-titrator that controls up to 12 burets and 6 galvanically separated measuring interfaces. These titrators can be operated via PC or touch screen. The appearance and operation using touch screen or PC are nearly identical, making it easy for users to switch from one interface to the other. Additional features include control of rights of access using login and password, which protects against accidental or intentional alteration and offers complete traceability. This instrument can also be programmed to remind users about any validation or service work that is due. Spectrophotometers. Designed for general laboratory applications, the Libra family comprises six instruments. The line includes the robust and easy-to-use Libra S11 and S12 for routine QC and teaching applications and the Pharmacopoeia-compliant, PC-controlled Libra S32PC with Instrument Performance Validation. In addition, press to read lamps (PTR) are included as standard on the higher-specification instruments. PTR lowers cost of ownership by running the source on full power only when it is required for a measurement, extending lamp lifetime by at least 50%. Chromatography Systems. The BioLogic DuoFlow family of instruments features improvements over previous models that expand its usefulness and productivity through multiple configurations, choices of options, and easy-to-use software. The upgraded models include higher flow rates, sophisticated detection capabilities, pH monitoring, trace comparison, and buffer blending. DuoFlow systems are now bundled with version 4.0 software. This version runs all the hardware and programming necessary to perform buffer-blending protocols at higher flow rates. Water Bath. Designed with preset temperatures specific for coliform or E. coli bacteria incubation, these models simplify operation and reduce laboratory error. The microprocessor-controlled circulator is programmed with three preset temperatures: 35, 44.5, and 45.5C. Operation of the water bath is simplethe user only needs to select the desired temperature by pressing a button. When the setpoint is reached, temperature stability and uniformity are both within ±1 °C. Actual temperature is displayed on a four-digit LED and an alarm lamp indicates low water level. Analyzer. This instrument is based on XDS near-infrared (NIR) technology designed for rapid, nondestructive analysis of solid and liquid chemical and pharmaceutical formulations. XDS NIR technology ensures effective analytical performance through precise instrument matching, decreased method development time, and seamless method transferall in one hot-swappable, networkable, modular analyzer platform. XDS NIR analyzers incorporate instrument performance certification and verification routines to meet regulatory requirements for validation of analytical instrumentation. Volumetric Flask. The Kimax wide-mouth instrument features large, easy-to-read printing and heavy uniform walls for superior strength. Additional features include T.C. class A volumetric calibration tolerances for accuracy and large, high-quality ground joints and stoppers. The wider mouths on these flasks provide users with easy and safe access to flask contents with pipettes or other retrieval devices. Thermal Desorption System. The Twister Stir Bar sorptive instrument is a patented device with a magnetic stir bar that is coated with a portioning phase of polydimethylmethysiloxane. While it is stirring the sample solution, the Twister efficiently extracts organic components from aqueous or other liquid samples. This system has been successfully used for detecting trace organics in many applications, including foods, flavors, fragrances, beverages, and environmental studies. Analyzer. The Titan FTIR system consists of a robust, versatile I-series FTIR spectrometer, a permanently aligned, corrosion resistant metal gas cell, and the AutoQuant software package. The optical and electronic components are hermetically sealed in a cast aluminum chassis for thermal stability and protection from damaging exposures. Gas cells with path lengths from 1cm to 100 m are mounted externally for easy access. Analyzer. The IGA-200 is dedicated to the measurement of the isothermal interaction kinetics and concentration of co-absorbed gas and vapor species on active carbons and other molecular sieves. This fully automated instrument offers integrated gravimetric analysis and dynamic sampling mass spectrometry with a range of environmental control options for the generation of gas and vapor mixtures within a purpose-designed reaction chamber. Analysis of co-adsorption is by isobaric thermal desorption at heating rates to 50 °C/min. The mass spectrometer also measures the downstream transient response of each species during isothermal equilibrium. Analyzer. The Series 200 Aromatic Hydrocarbon instrument features trace aromatic impurity monitoring of critical importance to carbon dioxide manufacturers and the carbonated beverage industry. This analyzer meets all ISBT method 12.0 criteria for selective measurement of benzene in carbon dioxide. Continuous stream or batch sampling operations are readily performed. No cylinder support gases are needed and calibration and sample introduction are totally automated. Mass Spectrometer. The AccuTOF Time of Flight model enables accurate mass measurement of components at low and high concentrations. This spectrometer offers mass spectrometry with a dynamic range that expands the applications for qualitative and quantitative analysis in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnological sectors. Porosimeter. The AutoPore IV series mercury instruments deliver fast, accurate pore structure data, including pore size distributions, total pore volume and area, median and average pore diameters, and bulk and apparent density. The porosimeters target pressure precision is better than 0.5% and controlled pressure increases can be in increments as fine as 0.05 psia from 0.2 psia to 50 psia. In addition, the high-pressure generation system design reduces audible noise. ICP Operator. The Prodigy High Dispersion ICP incorporates an innovative format with a programmable array detector and an advanced high-dispersion Echelle spectrometer to provide exceptional analytical performance. This detector has more than four times the active area of conventional detector designs and allows the ICP operator to access any wavelength or group of wavelengths during any analysis. This detector also allows for high-resolution acquisition of the entire spectrum in a single integration. Spectrometer. The SM240 (and SM200) UV-VIS-NIR models offer the option of an embedded 16-bit, 500kHz A/D converter, which means no plug-in computer boards are required. The simple plug-and-play system uses an industry standard USB interface and the spectrometers can be specified for either high sensitivity using a charge-coupled device linear array, or a high dynamic range with a photodiode array. The spectrometers support external triggering and draw all necessary power through the USB port. Polarimeter. The Autopol V is designed for GLP/GMP laboratories and comes standard with the accessories, validation tools, and automatic calibration functions necessary to ensure that temperature control, temperature measurement, and optical measurement processes are working accurately and reproducibly. All functions are accessed simply and conveniently through the liquid-sealed touchscreen. Literature Catalog. Tools for Scientists features the Lab-Crier Voice Alarm to warn of proximity to hazardous conditions in addition to portable temperature indicators and foam-wash brushes for lab glassware. Also featured are a temperature controller with integral variable voltage control for use with microreactions and controllers that use RTD sensing. Catalog. This 2002 edition features 575 pages of laboratory glassware and scientific apparatus. Hundreds of items are introduced, including an expanded list of chromatography columns and accessories. A new 20-liter pilot plant highlights the extensive list of large-scale cylindrical and spherical reaction assemblies. Also introduced is a new line of filter reactors, which allow single or multistep reactions and filtrations in the same vessel. Numerous products for photochemistry, hydrogenation, distillation, sonochemistry, and environmental analysis are included, as well as pressure reactors, temperature controllers, and stirrers. |
