C&EN Electronic Delivery

What is C&EN Electronic Delivery?

ACS members can choose to receive C&EN in a digital format in lieu of their weekly print copy. The digital edition is an interactive PDF version of the entire print magazine. It also includes links to each issue's online-only features. Each week, instead of receiving your print copy, you'll receive an email notifying you that the issue is ready for viewing. You can view the issue in a browser, download the issue to your computer, or print out pages.

How do I sign up? What if I want to switch back to print?

To sign up for C&EN Electronic Delivery or to switch back to receiving the print copy, please contact:

How does the digital edition differ from C&EN Online?

The digital edition is an interactive PDF version of the print magazine, including the same layout and content such as display ads and classifieds. C&EN Online includes all of the same articles as the print edition, but it does not have the classifieds or the same ads. C&EN Online includes additional material not in the print and is formatted differently from the print edition.

How does the digital edition differ from the weekly C&EN Online email newsletter?

The C&EN Online email newsletter arrives in your Inbox each Monday, just like the digital edition notification. The newsletter includes links to each issue???s articles and web-exclusive content on C&EN Online. It is a great tool for those receiving the traditional print edition of the magazine.
